Description

A two-day trip to Khao Sok National Park with an overnight in a deluxe en-suite bungalow on Cheow Lan Lake. An extended programme: two temples, a lake safari, the cave of sacred fish, hot mineral springs, an elephant village and bamboo-raft rafting.

Itinerary:

Day 1
06:50 — hotel pick-up.
09:20 — Monkey Cave and Suwan Khuha temple with stalactites and bats.
10:30 — Bang Tong temple (Wat Mahathat Wachiramongkon).
11:40 — viewpoint overlooking Cheow Lan Lake.
12:00 — Cheow Lan Lake pier, departure by longtail, photo stop at the Guilin-style cliffs.
13:00 — lunch at a floating restaurant, bungalow check-in.
13:50 — free time: swimming and canoeing.
17:50 — evening lake safari (monkeys, wild cats, boar, birds).
18:50 — dinner, free time.
21:50 — night in a bungalow on pontoons.

Day 2
07:00 — breakfast, check-out.
07:40 — longtail boat to the pier.
09:20 — Fish Cave (Wanaram temple), feeding the sacred fish.
10:00 — viewpoint over Khao Sok National Park.
10:20 — waterfall stop.
11:00 — bathing in hot mineral springs.
12:30 — elephant village: one activity of your choice (elephant spa or riding, baby-elephant show).
13:20 — lunch at a Thai restaurant.
14:20 — bamboo-raft or canoe rafting along a jungle river.
17:00 — return to the hotel.
